About Us

Osman Ömer Doruk – Bookbinder, Restorer

Osman Ömer Doruk learned the art of bookbinding from his instructors at Mimar Sinan University in 2005 and taught at the same academy for many years. In 2010, he founded Pürsanat art studio with his artist friends and focused his work there. While collaborating with significant rare book collectors both domestically and internationally, he continues to pursue style, technique, and materials in Turkish bookbinding.

Mehmet Tuğrul Yıldırım – Solution Designer

Mehmet Tuğrul Yıldırım began his art education at Marmara Faculty of Fine Arts in 2004 and worked in the workshops of master instructors in Turkish ornamentation patterns and wood-pearl craftsmanship. He continued his work within the framework of Pürsanat, which he established with Osman Doruk and Ahmet Erdem. In addition to contributing to the design and implementation processes of works signed by Osman Doruk, he also continues his individual productions.

 

Ahmet Necati Erdem - Managing Director

After graduating from the International University of Sarajevo's Department of Industrial Engineering in 2010, he worked in revenue management and planning fields while also undertaking the administrative and financial affairs of Pürsanat since its establishment. This provided him with the opportunity to expand his educational and professional experiences in art management. He is currently involved in the management of the Istanbul Bookbinding Institute alongside the project planning stage.
